A sign permit is not needed for certain temporary signage meeting specific requirements. Please refer to Chapter 16, Article 29 of the Zoning Code to determine which signs require a permit.

A few examples of “permissible” fireworks include fountains, wheels, spinners, illuminating torches, dipped sticks, sparklers, snakes and glow worms. Essentially, a good rule of thumb to go by is, if fireworks leave the ground or flies through the air or explodes, they are not allowed in the City of Lone Tree.
The affidavit and supporting documents will be reviewed and a determination made regarding identity of the driver or the circumstances of the violation. Keep in mind that providing an affidavit will NOT automatically result in the closure of this matter. If further information is required, the Lone Tree Municipal Court will notify you. Any false representations may subject you to criminal penalties.

The City never receives this sales tax revenue from the dealership. Colorado is a point of registration State, meaning dealerships collect for all points of registration and make payment of the taxes collected directly to the DMV and not to the jurisdiction for which it was collected. As a result, the City has no ability to refund the overpaid tax.
