What is the deadline?
The deadline is August 20, 2010 at 5:00 pm. All mailed images must be postmarked by August 20, 2010 and all electronic submissions must be emailed by 5:00 pm on August 20, 2010.

How much does an entry cost?
Entry into the Art Exhibition is $25. It is the same price for one, two or three entries.
3.
What are the categories?
Oil, Pastel, Water Media (which includes Acrylic), Mixed Media (which includes pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, collages or a combination) and Sculpture.
4.
How should I label my image?
Title, artist last name, category, and dimensions (HxW).
5.
Do I have to include the dimensions, I have not framed my art work and do not know the final dimensions?
Yes. Exact dimensions are appreciated, however if you have not framed your art work, please provide your best estimate.
6.
Why do I have to include my Email address?
All future Art Exhibition correspondence will be made electronically. You will receive next year’s prospectus via Email only.
7.
What is an Artist Statement and do I have to provide it?
Your artist statement is a brief biography of yourself and general information where the public can view and purchase your works of art. It is not required that you provide an Artist Statement, however artist statements will be available during the four week show at the Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel and may assist in promoting your work.
8.
How is my art work being judged?
Your JPEG files will be juried by a professional artist for selection into the show. Selection criteria will depend on the juror’s preference. Awards will be juried based on the art work and the presentation of the artwork. (This includes the framing and matting, etc.)
9.
Can I bring bin work?
Yes. Each artist may provide up to six bin works of art for sale only during the reception. Artists must bring the bin work and bin work form to the reception at 3:00 pm on October 2, 2010. Staff will place bin work in bins throughout the reception. You may bring your own bin, however you still may only bring up to six bin works of art.

How do I sell my art work?
All sales of juried images and bin work will take place through the Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel (South Suburban Parks and Recreation). A 20% commission will be taken by the Golf Club and City of Lone Tree. Please consider adding 20% into your sales price. If your art work sells, you will be notified not to pick up your art work. The art work must remain on display through the end of the Exhibition, October 24, 2010. Buyers can pick up the art work on October 25, 2010 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
