Lone Tree Police Department is one of the State’s newer police departments. The sworn and civilian staff are committed to the principles of Community Policing and partnering with the citizens of the community. Our mission is to serve and protect our community with pride, integrity, and professionalism. The vision of the department is to continually strive to exceed the expectations of our community by serving the City with pride, fostering innovation as a Police Department, and developing our individual employees.

Our philosophy is to govern by the four pillars of procedural justice which are fairness, impartiality, giving voice, and transparency. We pride ourselves in making decisions that are fair, impartial, and done with transparency with consideration to look at all aspects of the situation before reacting.
