Groundbreaking

The New South Metro Area Performing Arts Center
The Citizens of Lone Tree have authorized the construction of a new Lone Tree Arts Center in the Lincoln Commons area of RidgeGate, just south of Lincoln Avenue, and one-half mile west of I-25. Coventry Development Corporation has donated a multi-million dollar parcel of land for the construction of the cultural arts facility. Westlake Reed Leskosky has been retained to design the center. Preliminary and final design was completed in 2009. Construction of the center started in 2010 and is scheduled to open in 2011.

• 500 seat proscenium theater with orchestra and balcony seating
• 150-225 seat flexible theater/meeting space/banquet hall
• Folding glass wall leading to the amphitheater
• Grand entry hall designed to accommodate special events
• Gallery space to display visual art
• LEED Certification anticipated 

• Presentations of professional theater, music, dance and muli-disciplinary performances

• Rental of facilities to local groups
• Business and civic meetings and gatherings

• Make a financial gift to the Lone Tree Cultural Arts Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 charity raising funds to support building finishes and programming
