The Community Development Department recognizes development is an investment in the community. The City has Design Guidelines(7878KB) and Streetscape Standards(2020KB) to ensure development is consistent with the City's vision and contributes to a lasting quality of life for its residential and business community.

The construction of environmentally friendly developments are encouraged by the City of Lone Tree. The Sustainable Development Guide is a voluntary, self-directed resource designed to assist owners, builders and developers in their design and building process.
