Lone Tree Merry Days

The holidays are in the air here in Lone Tree!  Come celebrate the most wonderful time of the year as we light the City Holiday Tree for the season and join many of our community partners in bringing the holiday spirit to the City of Lone Tree.  

Schedule of Events:

Friday, November 30th, 2018

Tree Lighting at the Lone Tree Arts Center: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Enjoy Christmas carols from the Denver Dolls, a hot cocoa bar and s’more roasting hosted by the Lone Tree Arts Center Guild, fun giveaways (while supplies last), and of course the Big Guy himself and his reindeer. Join Mayor Jacqueline A. Millet and members of the City Council in kicking off the holiday season with the lighting of the tree at 6:30pm. Entry is free.

Story Time and Crafts at the Douglas County Library, Lone Tree: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Listen to some of your favorite holiday stories and make a fun holiday craft while snacking on candy canes and cider. Stories will be read at 6:15pm, 6:45pm and 7pm. Entry is free.

Cookie Decorating and Christmas Card Making at MorningStar Senior Living RideGate: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Sing along to Christmas carols while decorating cookie and making Christmas cards for the seniors in the memory care unit. Entry is free.

Parking: Target Parking Garage and the Douglas County Library for all Friday evening events.  There will be no parking at the Lone Tree Arts Center due to a private event.  

Saturday, December 1st 

Schweiger Ranch Austrian Christmas: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Experience an authentic Austrian Christmas at Schweiger Ranch while enjoying the stunning holiday light display, Santa and his reindeer, the Holiday Tree lighting, and authentic Austrian food, beverages and entertainment.
Entry is free, food and beverages a la carte.

A Storybook Holiday: Guess Who? Presented by Douglas County Libraries, Lone Tree: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Immerse the whole family in the classic holiday book How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Join us as we magically transform our Lone Tree location into Whoville! Enjoy Seuss-themed food, drinks, and crafts, as well as holiday entertainment and a visit with Santa. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for children ages 3 and up. An additional unlimited beer and wine ticket is $10 for adults over 21.
